My name is Meredith. I am eight years old. I am an only child. I love animals. My pets are Terra, the cat and Cake, the goldfish. My favorite sports are swimming, volleyball, and a lot of others. I love playing the piano for my teacher. At school I love seeing my friends and reading.

Hi Meredith from your Great Aunt Marcia. Congratulations of being MVP. It's so nice that you have so many interests. I want to tell you that a friend of mine has a cat, also. When I told her that you did, too, she told me about a book she likes. It's called "Dewey", and is a true story about a cat that lives in the Spencer, IA, library. Is say did live because the cat died. However, many people enjoyed going to the library and seeing Dewey. Someone said that there is a picture book for children about Dewey. Maybe your parents or your teacher could show you where Spencer, IA is. I enjoy your class blog. Your class does so many fun and interesting things! Isn't learning great? I think it is.
